Latitude 5511 external headset microphone not working(헤드셋 마이크 미작동 문제)
헤드셋(또는 이어셋)을 3.5mm 단자에 꽂아도 팝업 선택창이 나타나지 않고, 이어폰만 작동하고, 마이크는 작동하지 않습니다. 해결방법을 알 수 있을까요?
I have installed all drivers suggested by SupportAssist program. And still do not see a popup when I plug in my 3.5mm jack headphone (with mic). The 3.5mm headphone is identified as Realtek(R) Audio, Headphone. The headphone works and I can get audio output, but the microphone does not work. I guess windows does not recognize a microphone.
This works fine in older dell laptops.
Can someone help please?

I have the same issue. No mic on the Sound Settings does not see a popup when I plug in my 3.5mm jack headphone with mic

I am not certain, but I believe tha the 3.5mm headphone jack has only three contacts (it would need four with a headphone AND a microphone), the tip for one channel, the small sleeve for the other channel, and the longer sleeve for ground. You will probably need to use a USB to mic/phone adapter, or a USB microphone. I hope this information helps.

You need to install Dell Optimizer for most current models.
